{"id":8136,"date":"2020-04-28T16:12:54","date_gmt":"2020-04-28T15:12:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.traineebloggen.se\/?p=8136"},"modified":"2020-04-28T16:12:54","modified_gmt":"2020-04-28T15:12:54","slug":"finalizing-my-american-experience","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.traineebloggen.se\/index.php\/2020\/04\/trainee\/finalizing-my-american-experience\/","title":{"rendered":"Finalizing my American Experience"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Seven months ago, I arrived here in North Carolina for my third\nassignment as part of Husqvarna Group\u2019s Global Trainee Program (now named\nGlobal Pioneer Program). Today, I got special permission to go to the office\none last time and clear out my American-style cubicle. I have been working from\nhome in isolation for the last couple of weeks and it\u2019s time for me to return\nto Europe. Quite the different working scenario than I had in mind when coming\nhere, but nobody else knew that a worldwide pandemic was going to happen either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m at the end of my assignment where I\u2019ve had the great opportunity to\nwork with sales excellence development within the North American sales\norganization. It is a truly fantastic experience to move to another country and\nlive and work there. While the cultural difference between northern Europe and U.S.\nmight seem small, there are still disparities that can affect how some\ndecisions are made. It\u2019s very hard to predict and explain without experiencing\nit first-hand, but it can be business critical, especially if one of your main undertakings\nis stakeholder management. One of my targets I strived for was to primarily use\nthe information provided to me by the local U.S. organization for the sales\nexcellence assignment. This was in order to tailor the solutions to the market,\nkeeping it recognizable to the individuals undergoing it, and capitalizing on\nthe pride of everyone contributing to joint development. In my view, this has\nproven to be even more successful than I initially expected. The process of\ncollaboration culturally and altering the product after influential differences\nhas been one of the key learnings and will continue to bring value to me in\nunderstanding new situations and sentiments.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there has of course been a multitude of\nchanges and challenges arising in everyday life and work. Luckily, I had most\nof this assignment completed before the more serious disruptions occurred.
